COVID-19 Information

In March 2021, Jail Health Services (JHS), a section of the Department of Public Health, began offering COVID-19 vaccinations to people in custody under the City's expanded eligibility guidelines. 

COVID-19 vaccines are safe and effective at preventing COVID-19 disease especially severe illness and death. COVID-19 vaccines reduce the risk of people spreading the virus that causes COVID-19.

Get free at-home COVID-19 tests

The Federal Government has ordered 1 billion at-home, rapid test kits for distribution. Four free test kits can be sent to each address in the U.S. via USPS. You can request them online at www.COVIDTests.gov.  You SHOULD NOT be required to provide any credit card information when ordering online.
