Cortez died from injuries sustained in a training accident in early October. RIP Jason Cortez.

Sheriff Paul Miyamoto celebrates the 50th anniversary of San Francisco's LGBTQI Pride Month. SFSO has long championed LGBTQI rights and has actively recruited LGBTQI to join the Sheriff's Office since the 1970s.
